"Photo-encaustic" works combine photographs with the ancient techniques of
encaustic wax art.  The pieces may combine layers in a collage, utilize textures
using wax, or incorporate pigments into the wax.  Each work is handmade, first building up the wax and embedding the photograph or photographs
then adding more layers or elements of the artwork.
